This devastating news could not have come at a worse time for the Museum as we entered the peak tourist season and had just begun implementing our education and outreach programming. Much to our shock and dismay, the new owners (working within the parameters of our lease agreement) revoked our lease on permitting us just 60 days to vacate the facility to allow for their redevelopment of the mall. Heres what happened: shortly before opening in December, we learned that the mall was sold at auction. Going to invited a lot of the old techs and thier families. There will be a thank you party for the arcade side at a fellow klov garage cade. I have gone out of my way to clear up any loose ends and I am still working on it. John has bought tools and other neat toys. It was my way of saying thanks for being part of something special. I have bought tools, flash lights and fun stuff for the arcade techs. The AZ crew did get a working loc n chase. John did buy a meals for the pinball side from what I gather but I took care of most of the arcade side. To complain that the techs didn't receive anything for volunteering, well that a falsehood. Machines that have been left there for storage purposes are being addresses from what I heard. On my watch only 5 games out of the video arcade machines were donated out of the thousand video games.
